Q. What is a BOB?
A. A BOB is a Big O Biti. It is a 9” pie or a 9”inch cake. Pies are $15 and cakes are $15 per layer and must be special ordered.
Q. Can you make a Banana Cream BOB?
A. Unfortunately, we do not make Banana BOBs. The filling gets extremely runny when the bananas are added. The best way to accommodate a group requesting Banana Cream is to order at least 4 Bitis.
Q. Can I get one Lemon Meringue, one Banana Cream, or one Pineapple Cream Biti?
A. The minimum order for our special products is 4 Bitis or 1 BOB. However, keep an eye on our specials to see what days we carry your favorites in stock. (Monday – Lemon Meringue Pie, Tuesday – Banana Cream Pie, and Wednesday – Pineapple Cream Pie)
Q. Do you make sugar-free pies or cakes?
A. We can make low-sugar Coconut Cream and Chocolate Meringue BOBs only. The semi-sweet chocolate and sweetened coconut we use has a nominal amount of sugar already in it, but we use Splenda® for the rest.
Q. How far in advance do I need to order my special products?
A. We ask for a 24-hour notice on all BOBs, per 100 Bitis, and our special flavors (i.e. Lemon Meringue, Banana Cream, and Pineapple Cream.) However, we always have our 8 original flavors on hand. If you’re really in a pinch, give us a call and we’ll see what we can do.
Q. Do you deliver?
A. We will deliver, at no charge, orders of 40 or more Bitis to locations within the Amarillo city limits. Please call for more information.
Q. Can you customize your labels?
A. We can customize our labels for any special occasion you may have, although we ask for at least a 24-hour notice, but again, if you’re really in a bind, let us know. Any graphics may be emailed to Amarillo@bitipies.com (.jpg or .gif preferred) or you may bring them by the bakery and speak to a member of our team about your label design.
Q. Which flavors have nuts?
A. Our Classic Pecan Pie, German Chocolate Cake, Italian Cream Cake, and our Carrot Cake have pecans in them. Though none of the rest of our pies and cakes contain nuts, all of our products are baked in the same facility.
Q. How long do your pies and cakes stay fresh?
A. If refrigerated, our Coconut Cream and Chocolate Meringue pies will stay fresh for a week. Banana Cream and Pineapple Cream will also be good for a week, but the crusts may become a bit soggy. The Classic Pecan, Perfect Buttermilk, and all of our cakes have a 30-day shelf life.
Q. Can I freeze your pies and cakes?
A. With the exception of the Lemon Meringue Pies, all of our products may be frozen, and will remain fresh for up to 6 months.
Q. Where else can I get Bitis?
A. Other “Biti Buddies” include: Chicken Express on I-40 and Coulter, Hastings on Georgia, and The Golden Light Café on 6th.
Q. How can I become a Biti Buddy?

Q. Do you ship your products?
A. Since our pies and cakes are all homemade from scratch and incredibly delicate, we do not ship.
Q. What size is a Biti?
A. Pies are 4.5” in diameter and Cakes are 3.5” in diameter. (About the size of potpie.)
Q. Do you accept American Express?
A. We accept all major credit cards, personal checks, and cash at all Biti Pies locations.
Q. How many servings are in a BOB?
A. Our pies and single layer cakes will serve 6 to 8 people. Our double layer cakes will serve 16 people and our triple layer cakes will serve 25 people.
Q. Who is the little girl on the label? (other variations: Who's that ugly kid on the box?, Who's that little boy?)
A. She is the youngest of 4 siblings and the daughter of the owner. She would help her mom make little pies when she was younger and was nicknamed Biti. (The answer to all other variations: my brother)
Q. Can I mix and match your pies and cakes when purchasing more than one?

Q. Can I break up my gift certificate for a Byte to use in more than one visit?
A. Unfortunately, no. A gift certificate for a Byte or Nybble is only good for the full quantity on one visit.
